Welcome to the DC Nawican Friendship Centre Website!
The Nawican Friendship Centre was incorporated in 1971 in order to bridge the divide between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in the city of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The Centre's mission is:
"To promote friendship and understanding between Native and non-Native citizens of the South Peace River district. To provide counselling, information, guidance and programs for the comfort and betterment of Native and non-Native citizens of Dawson Creek and area."
